How far would you go for your client? In Nov 2007 after my initial "Dear Neighbour"
letters were delivered I got a nice weekend booking to Lisbon from my neighbour.
He subsequently booked a trip to Oz in May of this year to see his daughter and
happened to mention that he was trying to arrange a lift to the airport as it was
too costly to leave the car at the airport for the month. I offered to bring them
and they were dumbfounded but accepted the lift with pleasure. I got a lovely surprise
when they called around on their return with a bouquet of flowers and a cute pair
of KOALA bear slippers for my little girl. It was worth the short drive.
During my initial stages I read up on the WOW factor section on the intranet and
now always write out all my clients baggage tags as recommended by many of the TOP
TC’s. Its only a little gesture but I get lots of texts from happy clients telling
me how delighted they were the night before departure to discover I had saved
them the time and hassle.
