Yes you can. The most important thing to us is that you devote enough time to the development of your client base to give your business a solid foundation.

 

Do I get ideas for marketing myself?
Yes, we help you develop a plan on how to market yourself in your area.

 

When do we get paid?
You are paid fortnightly by bank transfer.

 

How long is the initial training?
The training & initiation is held at our Head Office in Bolton Near Manchester and is for three days.

 

Is there out of hours support?
In addition to the tremendous support provided by our team at Head Office there are also staff on standby out of hours, to assist if needed.

 

Is there an IATA license?
Yes, you can process scheduled air bookings, and the ticketing is done by our team at Head Office.

Will your admin be as efficient as I would be?
Travel Counsellors dedicated administration team handles all booking related paperwork to ensure consistency, continuity and a seamless service.

 

I'm concerned that I may feel isolated. Is there anything to help with that?
Yes, we have a range of systems in place to support you. There's our intranet, TCTV weekly webcasts, message boards and every TC and head office support team has a webcam & communicator system, which means you can chat away and it doesn't cost a cent!

 

What Financial Protection can I offer my clients?
Travel Counsellors Ireland Ltd., is licensed and bonded with the Commission for Aviation Regulation - licence number TA.0621. Our licence is dependant on us only recruiting experienced travel agents. Many of our overseas suppliers are also covered by a company "Trust" that is in operation at Travel Counsellors Ltd in the UK.

 

I've always enjoyed going on educational trips, will I have the same opportunity with you?
Yes, we have excellent relationships with all of our suppliers. We host lots of educational trips throughout the year which you can apply for.
